Puppies & Pooches - All About Dogs!

Puppies, pooches, small dogs, big dogs - they're all wonderful canines and the best possible pets for women, men or kids - as long as the kids are old enough to know not to tease the dogs or roughhouse too excitedly with the new puppies. Over the years I've owned and been around any number of pooches, from new born puppies to the geriatric dogs that require so much more love and attention to ensure their final days are as peaceful and pain-free.  

This website, puppies-and-pooches.com, was born out of that love for dogs of all kinds. Please understand that I am not a veterinarian or other qualified, licensed professional - while I did graduate with honours from my Animal Aide program in college, this site is just presented for your reading enjoyment and is not dispensing any veterinary, medical or other professional advice. Please, if your puppy or older dog is displaying any signs of distress, get them to a qualified, licensed veterinarian or veterinary clinic immediately - don't let your pooches suffer even a minute longer than necessary!

I sincerely hope your quality of life has been elevated by the love and joy that puppies and dogs of any age bring into your life. If not, unless you have toddlers at home or are living somewhere that prohibits pet ownership, consider adding a canine companion to your life as soon as possible. At all costs, avoid getting a puppy from a puppy farm or any pet dealer who enables those nasty abominations! Find your perfect pooch through a registered breeder or consider adopting yours from your local animal shelter, be it the SPCA, RSPCA, Humaine Society or similar recognized rescue society.
